Sleep Training Consultantion Giveaway!

One of the biggest challenges every parent face is getting your baby to sleep well, and if you are lucky, sleep through the night. This was definitely one of the hardest challenges I had to overcome as a mum. 


Joshua's Sleep Journey


Joshua's sleep has been a roller coaster ride. From non-stop screaming for 2 hours in the middle of the night, falling asleep during feeds, having to co-sleep with him, to finally falling asleep on his own, and pretty much sleeping through the night - it has been one hell of a journey.  


Before I met Gemma, I didn't realise that there are so many different sleep training methods. To be honest, I didn't really understand what sleep training was. Like many parents, the only way I knew was the "cry it out" method, which didn't work so well with Joshua. So much so that he lost his voice when I was trying to sleep train him myself. (My husband wasn't pleased with me about that.)


After a lengthy discussion with my husband, we decided to bite the bullet and hire Gemma to help with Joshua's sleep, and boy, was it worth it. It made such a big difference once Joshua was sleeping well because I have a chance to recharge. I was more well-rested, and as a result, I am a better mother because of it.

I first met Gemma in a Q&A session about sleep training. I liked Gemma straight away, as she is warm and very personable. Her presentation was beneficial and informative, and she was friendly and happy to answer all the questions parents have for her.  


Gemma's sleep training method is gentle and easy to follow. I am not saying sleep training is easy, but it was a lot easier when you have someone to guide you and tell you what will work for YOUR BABY.  




How Sleeping Beauties Works


After a 15 minute consultation on the phone with Gemma, she will send you a detailed questionnaire to fill in to better understand:

  • Your lifestyle & routine. (Do you both have to work late? Who normally puts the baby to bed?)

  • Your baby's personality.

  • Your routine now, so she can advise what could be improved for a better result.

  • Your baby's sleep pattern.

  • And many more...


After you fill in the questionnaire, she will write up a tailor-made sleep plan for you and your baby.  


When we hired Gemma, it was before Covid, so she came up for a home visit to look at the environment and go through the sleep plan with me, so I understand what needs to be done. For this part, I would highly recommend you and your partner (and even your helper) to be there to listen to Gemma's advice. Because for Sleep Training to work, EVERYONE needs to be on the same page.

Meet Gemma from Sleeping Beauties





Gemma is a Mother and Certified Infant Sleep Consultant based in Hong Kong that works with children aged from newborn to 6 years old. She believes firmly in a holistic and gentle approach to help our children sleep better through plenty of love, comfort, and reassurance.


She, too, was once the sleep-deprived, desperate mother who would've done anything for sleep when her daughter was waking every hour at night. After becoming certified as an Infant Sleep Consultant, she has helped hundreds of families across Hong Kong to get their precious sleep back. To continue with her love of helping others, she is now studying Adult Sleep Behavioural Therapy. She hopes to use this new qualification to specifically help women suffering from sleep loss during pregnancy as well as postpartum sleep challenges. 

Gemma describes helping and supporting families through such a precious moment in their lives as a privilege and a huge passion of hers.
